Kwesi & Esi's Senior Portrait Session at Kohler-Andrae State Park


We met at Kohler-Andrae State Park on a perfect summer evening, with comfortable temperatures, golden light, and the stunning shoreline of Lake Michigan as our backdrop. While the scenery was beautiful, what made this session special was the two of them. They showed up, trusted the process, and weren't afraid to simply be themselves—and that's where the magic happens.


With two outfits each, we created a gallery that reflected their personalities. Esi had a classic white top and jeans and changed into a stunning in a long, flowy dress. Kwesi paired a polished button-down with a second, more relaxed fitted shirt that was perfect for the beach. I always encourage my seniors to wear outfits they genuinely love because confidence shows in every image. When you feel amazing in what you're wearing, you stop worrying about your clothes and start enjoying the experience—and that confidence can't be faked.


Kohler-Andrae State Park is a great location for senior portraits in Sheboygan County. The beach grass, boardwalks, sand dunes, and endless Lake Michigan views create so much variety without ever leaving the park. As the sun was setting, the dreamy golden light made every image even more beautiful.
