My passion behind capturing your senior session is this: to give you an experience of self love so that you not only walk away with phenomenal images but a feeling of confidence and self acceptance. My ultimate goal during each session is to bring out your unique personality and be able to sustain those images through high quality products, which will last a lifetime. Having stunning senior photos is a great way to kick start your senior year. In order to achieve this, I am limited to the amount of senior sessions I do a year. This allows me to get know each client and spend quality time planning every session, carefully going over details and working with each client individually to meet his or her specific needs whether you want a beautiful storyboard or a custom made album.
**Hair and make up is not required but highly recommended**
Your session will get started with professional hair and make up. I LOVE this part of the day because it will really help you feel amazing during your session. In my opinion, having hair and make up done before your session is one of the most important aspects of being photographed. A professional make up artist will know what make up and shades work on different skin tones and can help make you look flawless. It also takes the stress out of you doing it yourself, plus who doesn’t love to get pampered?Professional make up is awesome because it is flawless on camera but is light weight, long lasting, and water proof, which means you won’t be sweating your make up off on those hot summer evenings. Professional make up minimizes skin imperfections and evens out the skin tone while giving your skin a natural looking finish. You can choose the level of makeup. For example, you can keep it natural or glam it up. But, having make up professionally applied is worth it! Also, let's style your hair!! Loose curls, messy bun, half up/half down, braid...leave that to the professional and don't worry about anything.
This is one of the most asked questions I receive from seniors and their moms! So to help guide you, I have a great "What To Wear Guide" which I will send you once your session has been booked. You only get your senior photos taken ONCE so I really try and make it an experience you won’t forget by helping pick out clothing. Remember, simply adding a hat, a necklace/bracelet, or a blazer to your outfit can take it from simple to magazine worthy! I encourage you to bring jackets, jewelry, hats, sunglasses, and other fun stuff to layer and accessorize with. Pinterest is a great place to gather ideas. I highly recommend creating a board.
$825 + 5.5% sales tax = $870.38 | Half ($435.19) is due when booking your session. OR $725 + tax but with no usb, just digital download. The remaining balance is due at the time of your session. This includes your session time, editing, final edited images, online gallery with instant download access, and a personal app of images which can be on multiple devices. Professional prints and products are sold separately. It's not required to order, however, I do offer a variety of unique products and highly recommend ordering a professional print of whatever you will display in your home. The average investment on prints/products is $350-$700.
A senior portrait session will last anywhere from 1.5-3 hours. This also allows time for outfit changes. A lot of clothing changes are done in the car. I always recommend changing up your look by bringing 3-4 outfits along with 1-2 alternative pieces and don’t forget the fun accessories like jackets, jewelry, hats, and sunglasses!. Your portraits are an investment and I want it to be PERFECT.
After your session is over, I will begin to edit your photos. You don’t have to worry about blemishes (big or small) I will edit your photos so you look your very best, but still look like you! That is VERY important to me. A preview will be posted on Instagram and Facebook and your final gallery will be completed within 10-14 days. You can expect to receive anywhere from 30-45 final, high quality images available for instant download along with an app of your gallery.
