A Laid-Back Senior Session at Kohler-Andrae State Park


There’s just something about senior portraits at Kohler-Andrae State Park. The dunes, Lake Michigan shoreline, cord walk, and beautiful evening light give us so much variety without having to go far.


For Lexi’s senior session, we explored it all while I got to know her along the way. She’s the sweetest girl who loves soccer and cross country and hopes to pursue something in the medical field someday. I love learning those little details about my seniors. It makes the session feel like so much more than just taking pictures.

One of my favorite things about Lexi’s gallery is how natural it feels. We moved from the cord walk, to the dunes and finished along the shoreline of Lake Michigan, giving her a mix of different looks and scenery.

My goal is always a session that feels guided but never stiff. I’ll help with posing and movement, so you never have to worry about what to do next. We can walk, talk, laugh, and let the little in-between moments happen.
