Makenna's Lake Michigan, Downtown Sheboygan, and Maywood Park Senior Session | Class of 2027
Kenna’s senior session was one of those evenings that reminded me exactly why I love what I do. She showed up, trusted me, and absolutely brought it. We explored new locations, chased the light, laughed, and somehow every stop gave me another image I couldn’t stop staring at. As a Sheboygan senior photographer, I love creating senior photos that feel like the person I’m photographing—not stiff, overly posed, or cookie-cutter. Kenna’s senior session was exactly that.
LAKE MICHIGAN + THE PINK DRESS
We started at Lake Michigan (Deland Park area), and Kenna stepped out in the most gorgeous, soft pink dress. The lake, the breeze, that dress—it was such a beautiful combination. We played with the light, and captured that dreamy, effortless feeling I love so much in senior portraits.
THE CHURCH + THE TWO-PIECE OUTFIT
Next, we headed to a beautiful church in downtown Sheboygan where Kenna changed into the cutest two-piece outfit. This part of her session felt completely different. The architecture gave us so much to work with, and Kenna made every spot look effortless. I’m pretty sure I said “OMG, YES!” more times than I can count.
MAYWOOD + WHITE DRESS + RED BOOTS | BLACK TOP + JEANS
Then came Maywood Park, where we brought out the white dress and those amazing red boots. Plus, all the gorgeous flowers 🌼 And because we clearly weren’t done creating, we snuck in one last look—classic jeans and a black top—right on the road as the sun was setting. Every outfit, every location, every little moment felt like Kenna. And that is always the goal.
